Local Area Description
Streatham is a district of South London, around 5 miles south of London's centre. Its high road is packed with shops and services. Brixton is barely a mile to the north, with its attendant entertainments and nightlife. Streatham Common offers pleasant walks and Croydon, within easy reach, offers shopping malls and cultural diversions.
Although there are many places to go some of the top places are the Hideaway on Empire Mews which is great for live music and Alipal Yours on Polworth Road which provides a tour of the surrounding area. Also worth mentioning is Westbury Chemist on Streatham High Road - open from 9am to 12 midnight 365 days a year.
